Four Principles Kaizen Awards

Complacency is the main challenge facing many organizations, especially the most successful ones. The widespread belief that if there are no problems, there is nothing to fix – is a problem in itself. At the opposite of this belief stands Lean management – which argues that everything can be improved.

Four Principles’ aim is to spread the Lean philosophy in Saudi Arabia and the region to demonstrate how it is not just a management toolkit, but a profound change of corporate culture, from the bottom of the organization to the top and vice versa. Positioning themselves as the thought leaders in applying Kaizen, the Lean management experts announced the launch of the Four Principles Kaizen Awards and its implementation during their Roadshow in Saudi Arabia in December.

Hosted in three major cities in the Kingdom – Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam – the Roadshow served as a mechanism to educate prospective partners in the region on all things Lean and introduced the concept of the Awards.

As the go to experts for Lean implementation in Saudi Arabia and the region, Four Principles seeks to recognize talent, partner with their clients and work towards reducing waste and optimizing all business functions across different industries.

The Awards is a recognition of continuous improvement. In addition to incentivizing clients in achieving optimal results from within their business functions, the awards aim to stimulate good practices related to continuous improvement. Based on certain criteria, participating companies’ can compete in two categories of excellence: Continuous Improvement Process and Lean Transformation.

HOW IT WORKS

Companies in Saudi Arabia can enter by submitting their project – which needs to showcase the implementation of Kaizen –  through the Four Principles’ website. A judging panel will assess the project based on different criteria including quality, lead times, costs, sustainability and minimum investment.

THE WAY FORWARD

The Four Principles Kaizen Awards, with its relevant incentives, expert panel and practical foundation of Kaizen, is the perfect example of Four Principles’ vision in expanding the concept of Lean throughout the region and transforming businesses from all industries.

As the leading Lean Management implementation experts in Saudi Arabia and the region, Four Principles seeks to recognize and reward organizations that implement Lean across their value streams. Submit your Lean success story in one of the two categories to enter and win a prestigious Lean award.

Deadline for submission is the 1st of September, 2018. Submit your project here
